Lone Wolf is quite a popular term, considering wolves are inherently pack animals. I painted this during a season of life when I moved away from the city and community I had built over 14 years. I spent a lot of time in nature, in the good company of the forest’s tall trees – something Vancouver Island has no shortage of.
