Reverence | Original Moose Painting
$258.45
This moose painting is for those who find reverence in nature.
This original painting shows a unique aerial view of a moose walking through water, leaves tangled up in its impressive antlers. I was inspired by a video shared by Angler’s Alibi, a fly fishing lodge in remote Alaska. And it reminded me of a solo motorcycle trip I took in the summer of 2024. I was somewhere on the 31A highway between New Denver and Kaslo, British Columbia when I saw a moose wading in water just off the side of the road. I did a U-turn and rode by him again to catch a video. That was definitely the closest I’d ever been to a moose before. And if you ride motorcycles then you know how much more connected to your environment you feel versus riding in a car. I felt a deep reverence for nature in that moment which I wanted to carry forward in this painting.
